Habatat proudly presents Matriarchs of Mastery: Women Shaping the Future of Glass Art, an extraordinary exhibition celebrating over 20 visionary women artists who have propelled the medium of glass art to unprecedented heights. These trailblazers, each at the pinnacle of their careers, have redefined the possibilities of glass through their innovative techniques, conceptual depth, and exceptional craftsmanship.
The show features remarkable works by artists Jen Blazina, Christina Bothwell, Karen Browning, Nancy Callan, Deanna Clayton, Amber Cowan, Ekin Aytac, Hannah Gibson, Anja Isphording, Claire Kelly, Eriko Kobayashi, Lucy Lyon, Karin Morch, Josepha Gasch-Muche, Kathleen Mulcahy, Sibylle Peretti, Marlene Rose, Kait Roads, April Surgent, Demetra Theofanous, Stephanie Trenchard, Jen Violette, and Alexis Silk. These distinguished artists have made their mark in the contemporary glass art world, captivating audiences and inspiring the next generation of creators.
Many of the works in this exhibition were recently showcased at the prestigious Sarasota Glass Art Fair, demonstrating the evolving power and allure of this medium.
